ISE's Prof. Thomas Visits Guangzhou City University of Technology (GCUT)

Prof. Thomas Lei, Chair of the ISE Scientific Council at the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE), visited Guangzhou City University of Technology (GCUT) for meetings and discussions on further collaborations. 



Prof. Thomas Lei, Chair of the ISE Scientific Council at the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), visited Guangzhou City University of Technology (GCUT) on 8 March, for meetings and discussions on further collaborations. 

The USJ representative was warmly welcomed by Mr. Cai Xiaokun, Senior Program Manager, and Ms. Xu Yingying, Program Manager, from the Office for Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs; Prof. Liu Feiyan, Prof. Tang Juan, Dr. Tong Zhi, and Ms. Xu Xizhen, from the School of Management; Prof. Chen Xiaoying and Ms. Zong Yating, from the School of Economics; Dr. Li Zhenming and Ms. Li Qinyuan, from the International Business School.

In addition, Prof. Thomas presented a seminar talk titled “Case Study of Macau: Implementation of 30.60 Dual Carbon Goals, ESG Management, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals” to a group of over 30 Bachelor students at GCUT, who also expressed interest in applying to the USJ postgraduate programme. 

GCUT is located in Huadu District of Guangzhou, covers a total area of 1,723 mu, and is the first IACBE-accredited University in China and was awarded Demonstration School for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education of College Students in Guangdong, Intellectual Property Rights Pilot School of Guangzhou.

The ISE/USJ looks forward to creating future collaborations and receiving students from GCUT.
