About

Established in 1996 by the Catholic University of Portugal and the Diocese of Macao, the University of Saint Joseph (USJ); Chinese: 聖若瑟大學; Portuguese: Universidade de São José, previously known as Macau Inter-University Institute (Chinese: 澳門高等校際學院; Portuguese: Instituto Inter-Universitário de Macau; IIUM), is a Catholic university in, of and for China,  modeled after top Universities in Europe and is now a hub for international collaboration, framed by Macao’s unique local character.

As a world-leading university, the ability to deliver teaching and research of the highest quality is enormously enhanced through philanthropy. With your support we aim to: •assist the very best students, regardless of their background; •invest in our academic staff and their work; •provide appropriate facilities and equipment for teaching and research.

Donations help to secure the future of the University and, in doing so, provide a lasting foundation for our academics and students, to make a global impact for generations to come.

Thank you for helping us to create a better future.
