Sharon Chen, with a PGcert in History (University of Saint Joseph, Macao) and a master's in English (Shih Hsin University, Taiwan), is an experienced English teacher as well as a Trad. Chinese/English translator. She joined USJ in 2013 and has been teaching undergraduate students with different proficiency levels. Besides teaching, she also works as an administrative staff in the USJ's Cambridge Assessment Exam Centre (MO004) and is a qualified FCE Speaking Examiner. Her current research interests include post-colonial writings in Taiwan and Macao and identity writings (national, sexual, gender) in contemporary Chinese literature.
