Short Bio

Professor Kevin Hannam is Pro-Rector for Research and the Professor Librarian at the University of Saint Joseph, Macau. He is also a Visiting Professor at Nebrija University, Madrid and the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He has extensive experience of senior management roles at universities in the UK and elsewhere and has developed many successful transnational educational partnerships in Asia. He is the founding editor of the academic journals Mobilities and Applied Mobilities (both published by Taylor and Francis in the UK). He is also an Associate Editor of the journal Annals of Tourism Research and is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Heritage Tourism, Tourism Geographies and Tourist Studies. He has published ten books and over one hundred research articles and book chapters. He has conducted extensive fieldwork in India, has a PhD in geography and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) in 1998.
