The MCP Program did not only further my knowledge in Psychology, it also gave me the skills necessary to become a good counsellor and a therapist.
From visiting Professors coming from India, Philippines, USA and Hong Kong, my classmates and I experienced and learned from a multi-cultural perspective of counselling which gave us an understanding of how important our profession is.
After several class discussions, group presentations, case conceptualizations, roleplays ( lots of them !), assigned readings, and finally, writing my research, I can say that this program has challenged me intellectually and tested my humanity. Also, because of all this, it has helped me grow and discover myself more. Ultimately, the MCP Program of USJ is a degree program that provides both professional and personal growth.
