School of Education made an Academic Exchange Trip to Chengdu, China

Prof. Ho and Prof. Sun led the PGDE students in the academic exchange trip to Chengdu
On December 20-21, 2018, the School of Education – University of Saint Joseph had an opportunity to understand the contemporary issues on Inclusive and Special Education in mainland China: Leading by Professor Carrie Ho, Professor Susannah Sun and PGDE student Susanne Wong visited the School of Special Education, Normal College, Chengdu University (成都大學師範學院特殊教育系), Prince Island English Kindergarten, Chengdu (皇子島英語幼稚園), Chengdu Jinyang Primary School (成都晋陽小學), and Chengdu Special Education School (成都武侯區特殊教育學校). The trip contributed to the insightful and practical teaching learning strategies for SEN students, as well as further collaboration between USJ and Chengdu University on autism research.
