FCI at the 10th China International Animation Copyright Fair ACTIF 2018 – in Dongguan.
The 10th China International Animation Copyright Fair in Dongguan, South China’s Guangdong Province, is the most important fair of this industry in China. More than 500 companies attended this year’s animation copyright fair which kicked off last Wednesday, 14th November, including companies from the United states, Japan and Australia.
For the first time, the University of Saint Joseph, namely the Faculty of Creative Industries was represented by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Carlos Sena Caires, and Professor Vincent Ho, the founder of the Macau Design Association. Their attendance was used to not only showcase audio-visual works of our students but also to publicise our new bachelor programmes namely the new degree in digital cinema.
Including Cosplay shows, video game competitions, and cartoon products sales, the 10th ACTIF 2018 mains’ intent is to develop the audio-visual and cinema animation China’s industry, showcasing creative products, artworks, lectures, forums and creative market to the public.
