Sports is an important and exciting part of student life at the University of Saint Joseph. It is a component of education that challenges students by providing opportunities to attain the skills and knowledge to be physically active as part of a healthy lifestyle. Regular participation in physical activity will allow students to develop a pattern of life-enhancing and self-rewarding experiences that contribute to their potential to be healthy members of society.

2017 GAES Basketball Competition
Last Saturday March 18, USJ Male Basketball Team played the dispute for the 4th place of the 2017 GAES Basketball Competition; The closing ceremony was filled with fun, as the place was filled with a strong spirit of teamwork. Our participants have developed a lot all throughout the competition and training that were held beforehand and the male team was praised by the other teams for their vast development. They have learned and progressed a lot, and have won the 4th place. We would like to acknowledge the support.
2017 Higher Education Badminton Tournament & 2017 ADUM Volleyball Competition
The volleyball team & Badminton team have participated in the 2017 ADUM Volleyball Competition & 2017 Higher Education Badminton Tournament. Even thought both teams cannot enter in the final game, both the coaches found the teams have improved a lot. We are so proud of the USJ teams’ effort, we would like to thank them for their time dedicated to make those games memorable.

USJ basketball team against KWNC basketball team: USJ wins!
The USJ Male Basketball teams had their first round of the GAES Basketball Competition. They won the game against KWNC with a winning score of 66:17. The next game will be competing against UM on Saturday 04 March 15:00 in UM Sports Complex.
