 Language Courses (CLPD)

The Center for Language and Professional Development (CLPD) offers an extensive range of high quality language courses addressed to schools, public and private organizations, associations and general public. Currently the CLPD offers English, Putonghua, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, French, and Japanese courses, and may add additional language courses if needed. All language courses are open to the public, for students aged 16 and above. CLPD’s language courses follow the ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) international standards and cover the full range from Beginner to Independent through Proficiency levels of skill.

USJ is the only University in Asia that offers language certificates accredited by the prestigious European Language Passport of the Council of Europe.

 

The CLPD has opened the following courses, provided there are at least 10 participants in each of them: 

- Cantonese: Mondays and Tuesdays, from 19.30 to 21.30 (room B07)
- Korean: Wednesdays and Fridays, from 19.30 to 21.30, (room B07)
- Portuguese: Mondays and Wednesdays , from 19.30 to 21.30 (room TBC)

The fee is MOP3,500 per participant, due before the starting day. For information on the enrollment, please contact the Admissions at the USJ Main Office. 

Russian Center

The Russian Center at USJ offers Russian language and culture courses free of charge. Class hours and teaching methods are flexible, we always try to accommodate the needs and schedule restrictions of the willing learner of Russian language. Courses are taught mostly during the day time - 10am-12pm and 5-6pm -, Monday through Friday, but other schedule arrangements can be made, depending on instructor availability.
